Born in Naples on 2 August 1960. On 26 November 1982 he graduated with first-class honours in Law at the University “La Sapienza” in Rome.

After obtaining a postgraduate degree in tax law from the University “L.U.I.S.S.” of Rome, he worked for several years as a lawyer in Rome at a well-known international law firm having its Italian branches in Rome, Milan and Padua.

He has been a Notary since 1992 in the district of Lucca, first based in Lucca, then based in Viareggio, Via Leonardo da Vinci 18. He has held the position of Member of the Board of Directors in the bank “Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca, Pisa e Livorno spa” and Member of the Board of Directors of “Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca”.
